How It Works
- Structural steel core made to comply with Australian Standards AS 1397
- Layer of Activate™ metallic coating to provide superior anti-corrosive performance.
- Thin pre-treatment layer to enhance the adhesion of further coatings.
- Polyester primer baked onto the surface.
- Topcoat specially derived from exterior-grade, lead-free paint for enhanced resistance to chipping, peeling, and cracking.
Together, these elements form a durable layer unmatched by other similar products on the market. As a result, you have total peace of mind knowing your fence is guaranteed to last.

Colorbond
pay for. Fencing made from COLORBOND® steel is branded with a subtle laser engraving
(on either side of the fence) at least three times on each 2.4 metre fencing section.
If you can’t find the branding then the panels are not genuine COLORBOND® steel.
How exactly does COLORBOND® steel perform when rated for fire? According to the CSIRO’S research and investigation team, the results found that, “… a steel fence offers greater protection to people’s homes against fire than other alternatives materials because of its non-combustibility”
When exposed to a 30-minute flame immersion test (designed to simulate the effects of an adjacent house fire), the results concluded that pre-painted and metallic coated sheets (the same found in COLORBDOND® steel) performed best under all exposure conditions.
Wind is also not a problem…. When installed to manufacturer specifications ColorMAX steel fencing has a wind gust load rating up to 216KPH and is backed by a 10 Year BlueScope Steel warranty.
Cold weather is no problem for this solid steel fence panel either.
